Reports & Alarm Information
As a security firm, our security officers generate various reports. These include Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports. These reports are confidential and the property of Weinstein Security, Inc. Weinstein Security, Inc. is a Private Patrol Operator, and as such will only provide copies of these reports to the party under contract with Weinstein Security, Inc., and under subpoena by a court.
Reports will also be provided to any party, if specified and upon written request from the contracted
party. These reports will be retained for at least 3 years but not more than 5years, after which they
will be destroyed by computer file data eraser and shredding documents. Contracted parties will not
be notified at that time. Alarm information, including codes, is strictly limited to the client, Weinstein
Security, Inc. management and Emergency24 (alarm central station) only.
Personnel Records
As an employer in the state of California, all information contained in personnel files will not be
disclosed to any party outside of Weinstein Security, Inc. management team, without written
permission from the employee, unless by subpoena. Personnel records will be retained for at least 3
years, but not more than 5 years, after which, they will be destroyed by computer file data eraser and
by shredding documents.
Medical Records
All personnel medical information is filed separately from personnel files and is kept strictly
confidential. Only Weinstein Security, Inc. management team, the employee and the medical provider
is allowed to view these files. The files will only be provided to other parties if under subpoena. They
are kept for at least 3 years, but not more than 5 years and will be destroyed at that time computer file
data eraser and document shredding.
Payroll Records
All information contained in payroll reports will not be disclosed to anyone outside of Weinstein
Security, Inc. management team and the various taxing and government authorities without written
permission from the employee with the following exceptions:
Some information may be seen by various auditors from insurance companies for purposes of
determining final billing costs
Some information may be seen by computer support individuals, but not without supervision
by a member of Weinstein Security, Inc. management for the purpose of assisting Weinstein
Security, Inc. with any problems that may occur with the computer program that generates
payroll.
Payroll records will be retained for at least 3 years, but not more than 5 years, after which, they will be
destroyed by computer file data eraser and by shredding documents.
